Main Idea: One in Christ
What I learned about God: God's love for us allowed Him to give us grace through Christ
Summary: This passage is explaining that God didn't have to give us love, He didn't have to let us live with Him. He could have given us eternal damnation, but through His great and endless love, He gave us Jesus and we didn't earn it by being sinful people, it was out of His love that we were saved.God wants us to remember that we did not earn eternal life through our works, but through God's love. We must now remember that and continue to grow and love God unconditionally just as the disciples and apostles did. We must continue to love and grow in Him in remembrance for His great and glorious sacrifice through Christ.
Application: Continuing to live my life is easy, but having to deal with missions training on top of school work is such a burden in which I cannot seem to juggle correctly. On top of moving into my new home, I have been thoroughly been using all of my resources. It has continued to burden me and using my time where I cannot afford to. I must always remember Jesus' sacrifice, for since He was on that cross for us, than each and every second is a gift from Him. He loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us. The ultimate sacrifice is truly one that can never be forgotten. I need to remember that each and everyday in which I must thank Him and to honor His sacrifice, just work in His name all the time.
