Summary: This is Paul's summary of the Gospel and the power of prayer. He explains how God gave Him the power as an apostle to know and love God but the mystery is why God allowed Gentiles to do the same. It then explains how when we are feeling weary and broken down, we have something that can give us the life in which we need in order to worship God. When we are rooted in Him, we can ask Him to relief us of our daily lives and ask Him for rest upon Him.
Application: My life is probably a living hell in which I am too lazy to finish measly assignment, not disciplined enough to keep on a schedule, and just plain stupid to figure out that I can do everything I want to if I focus myself. In this time of finals and moving and numerous other things, I need to remember to keep on pushing through not on my own will but the upon the will of God. I need to remember that through Him, He will give me rest, and He will help me through any obstacles. I must remember to first seek Him and everything will be provided. If I seek Him in all I do, God will help me find rest in His soul after everything is done and said, but this week is going to be the hardest week in my life in which I need God the most and I need to seek Him every moment in my life.
