4/2/10: It's God's Choice, Not Ours
Time: 20 mins
Main Idea: God is the only Creator and we have no say in anything!
What I Learned about God: God is the only one who can criticize, we as imperfect people can never question the Creator
Summary: This is when Paul is speaking to the Romans and how he is speaking of how God is never wrong. He gives a question of how if God was making an imperfect man, than God himself the Creator is wrong and therefore imperfect Himself. This is wrong in that God is the Creator and how God is unable to make mistakes but as the Creator, Him making differences if all part of His plan. Paul gives the example of how if God were to show wrath and mercy, they are both made from the same creator and how if he had only created one instead of the other, than they wouldn't be able to compliment each other and therefore is essential to have both even though they are the opposite and therefore the flawed creation. The last verse is the most powerful in that, God did not only make Jews to be Christians, but also the Gentiles to be Christian.
Application: God therefore has made all things in His image, but God shows in each and every creation, there is a purpose behind everything. All the trust within my body must be put onto God and i must not judge a creation of God by just the appearance, but also see it as the reason for each and every creation that God has made. I must never be quick to judge, but I must be the one to appreciate all of God's creations, no matter what.
