Main Idea: The End Times
What I learned about God: We will suffer for His name
Summary: This is Jesus talking about the end times. He explains how we must remain faithful in His Word and how there will be false prophets who will lead people astray. We will go through rumors of wars and just wars in general but then Jesus explains how that must be endured as the beginning of the birthing pains. I believe the birthing pains just resemble the on going pains we will suffer to see His Glory. We will then be put on judgment and how we will suffer for God's name. The world will be in complete anarchy and people will start to forsake Jesus' name but the ones who will endure will go into the kingdom.
Application: In my life, I suffer so much from the fact that I am very lazy and I have no motivation. Just thinking about the end times truly scares me in that I don't know if I can endure through the it. I think of how in my own life, I don't endure through my own homework or studies and how I just put church and KCM activities ahead of my own schoolwork. I guess prioritizing is a big factor in that but God will just give me strength. I noticed on the days in which I complete my devotions in the morning, I have a fairly pleasant day in which I see God's glory throughout my day. Through my devotionals, I shall continue to pursue God and know that in my daily time with Him, He will give me strength to go out through the day.
